February 2020 Update

Following the October 2019 announcement about the hotel project, officials from Radford University and the Radford University Foundation, Inc. have been working diligently to bring the project to life.

At this stage in the multi-year process, representatives from the University and the Foundation continue to work with JLL on an overarching strategy and implementation plan.  That strategy and plan included participation in The Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS), representing the leading and largest hotel investment conference in the world.  Following discussions held and connections made during ALIS, various groups of investors will visit Radford in the coming weeks to learn more about the project and see the hotel site first hand.  Additionally, several world-wide hotel brands have expressed strong interest in the project and will visit the local area throughout the spring.

Once a hotel brand is selected, a public announcement will be made.
