Radford's spring 2024 commencement speakers, Amanda Cox, MBA '21 and Mark Pace '92, reflect on their student experiences and how their degrees have impacted their careers.

A record-breaking number of donors came together to support Radford Athletics during this year’s RAD48 giving day.

On November 3, 2023, Radford University hosted the second annual Day of Gratitude to honor its generous donors and showcase its outstanding students. The day included the Partners in Excellence luncheon, the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences (CHBS) Experience, and the Celebration of Giving.

Radford celebrated a 33% increase in philanthropic support this fiscal year, as well as attaining $91.8 million of the $100 million goal.

On April 25, 2023, the Hattie M. Strong Scholars gathered for the annual Strong Scholars Awards Dinner to recap their student teaching experiences and express gratitude for the scholarship support that helped make these experiences possible.

Gifts to the Highlander Pantry, like the Jessie Ball duPont Foundation providing funding to purchase a new commercial-grade refrigerator, expand the pantry's offerings and provide more options for those with dietary restrictions.

The third annual RAD48 crowdfunding challenge made history, raising over $180,000 to support student-athletes. 

Radford University hosted the inaugural Day of Gratitude to honor its generous donors and celebrate the achievements of its hard-working student scholarship recipients. The day included the annual Partners in Excellence luncheon and a new event, the Artis College Experience.

Six students in Radford University’s College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) teacher education program were each awarded $5,000 scholarships by the Hattie M. Strong Foundation in 2021-22.
