Fall 2020 Exit Testing Information for Main Campus Faculty and Staff
As we prepare to conclude the Fall 2020 semester, Radford University recognizes that many faculty and staff will be departing campus. And, as referenced in the Spring 2021 Semester Operational Plan, we will offer COVID-19 exit testing, which will be available by appointment and at no charge for faculty and staff, both on the main campus and at Radford University Carilion (RUC), during the week of finals.
Exit testing for faculty and staff will be available on the main campus in Young Hall as outlined below.
· Monday, November 16, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
· Monday, November 16, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
· Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
· Tuesday November 17, 2020 from 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM
Faculty and staff interested and available to participate in exit testing need to make an appointment through an online registration system. Individual testing appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis and, pending availability, accepted until one hour prior to the actual testing time. The tests, once performed, will be processed by PathGroup. Test results will be available through a secure online portal within 48 hours.
Once an appointment is made, a confirmation will be sent to the provided e-mail address. Appointments, once made, can be canceled and/or modified. Individuals are strongly encouraged to arrive five minutes prior to the confirmed testing time, which will be within the selected 15-minute timeframe. Once arriving at Young Hall for testing, signage will indicate the dedicated entrance and exit locations to ensure physical distancing.
Please know that we take the health, safety, and well-being of our faculty and staff, as well as students and community members, very seriously. The offering of exit testing represents one of the many ways in which the University has worked diligently throughout the Fall 2020 semester to provide both reassurance and support. If you have specific questions about exit testing or general questions about COVID-19 planning, response, and reporting, please e-mail COVID19@radford.edu.
