Move-In: Parking and Radford Transit Information
As our campus community joins together for the Fall 2020 semester, please be aware of some parking and transportation information occurring during move-in, August 1-11, 2020.
IF YOU ARE MOVING IN
We ask that you please be prompt for your scheduled move-in time. The attached map designates check-in areas, as indicated with a green check mark. This map will help you determine the most convenient parking lot. Additionally, when arriving for move-in you will note that there is signage across campus, helping direct you appropriately.
Once your scheduled move-in time is over, you must move your vehicle. Students will need to move their vehicles to one of the resident student parking areas marked in blue on this parking map [PDF]. Families should move their vehicles to Lot E, adjacent to the Armstrong Complex.
PARKING NOTES
In the parking areas, please note:
- Parking in a handicapped space is only allowed if a valid handicapped permit/plate is displayed in or on your vehicle.
- No parking is permitted on yellow lines, sidewalks, on the grass or on any plaza.
- Vehicles must be in marked parking spaces within the parking lot.
- No overnight parking will be allowed on our main campus during the move-in dates.
