Shared Governance Renewal

In September 2016, Dr. Scartelli, Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, created a small working group to review the current internal governance structure and make recommendations for updates and revisions.

The working group:

Drafted the Overview of Shared Governance, Academic Affairs Governance, and the Flowcharts for Academic Affairs documents.

Produced a document, Rationales for Recommendations from the Working Group for Review of Internal Governance at Radford University, which includes the group's mission and goals, and rationales for its recommendations. 

Recommended the creation of the University Internal Governacce Review Committee which is charged with approving the draft documents and submiting them to the University President for final approval.
