Monitoring the Coronavirus

Radford University officials are closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) outbreak that began in China. This is an ongoing issue and a rapidly evolving outbreak at the global level.

For national information and monitoring, visit the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

According to information from the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), there are 44,607 cases.  For additional information about COVID-19 and the Commonwealth of Virginia, visit the Virginia Department of Health website.

The health and safety of our campus community are of the utmost importance. As a campus, we are continuing to follow guidance of the CDC, as well as state and local health officials, as we evaluate conditions, make decisions for both long-term and short-term impacts on people, programs and processes, and provide updated information regarding COVID-19. As new information is available, updates will be posted to this webpage.
