Daniel W. Boothe, '06
Daniel W. Boothe studied conducting, composition and percussion before receiving his Bachelor of Music. While at RU, he was commissioned to compose the music for President Kyle’s inauguration. Capt. Boothe is a U.S. Air Force Band Commander and Conductor. He has two notable accomplishments during his time as a U.S. Air Force Band Conductor. He is a winner of the highest international award for military bands – the Colonel George S. Howard Citation for Musical Excellence. He is also a finalist for the American Prize in Conducting, which recognizes and rewards the best orchestral, choral, band/wind ensemble, opera and musical theater conductors in the U.S.
