Radford University is committed to reducing its carbon footprint by using more green technology for transportation. Here are some of the efforts undertaken:

  • Radford Transit offers free bus rides to faculty, staff and students to places around campus and in the New River Valley.
  • Ride your bicycle (Campus Bike Map) - there are three bike Fixit Stations throughout campus (the Fixit includes all the tools necessary to perform basic reparis and maintenance).

Using alternative transportation can be a great way to get around campus and the region while reducing your overall carbon footprint. The links below provide access to resources to make your use of alternative transportation more convenient.
